Welcome Obama!

There is hope!

So we were in a concert tonight, checking the election results every 20 minutes on my iPhone.  I knew it was looking good.  When the concert was over we had a chance to see just how well he’d done, and knew that the presidency was pretty much in the bag.  I’m walking down Main street Hamilton celebrating the victory, chanting “Obama won, Obama won!” while receiving very strange glances from passersby, LOL.

My husband is American, this election means more to us than the average Canuckian!

Open letter to the people of America:

You have an obligation not only yourselves, but to the whole world.  We’re all depending on you to do the right thing.  Please, PLEASE do not put the keys to the Most Powerful Nation on Earth in the hands of that idiot in the skirt.  I say that not to disrespect women.  I say that because she’s an idiot.  Bush caused you enough embarrassment on a global scale.  You need to re-assert yourself as a nation, and she is NOT the answer.

Obama will do right by you.  Give him a chance.  Save us all…..
